Microcomputer-based Tactile Data Collection and Its Classification by Deep Learning

Recent years, in the field of human interface, multiple channels of sensation, such as visual, auditory and haptic sensation, have been treated as integrated media, and the research of interaction between human and computer is steadily progressing. Further, with the development of computer science and increment of computational power, many type of media information have been processed, encoded to provide higher order information transformation with machine learning technology. The higher order mutual information transformation between real/virtual world/human are developing innovating system.

Thus we propose a framework of “collecting/encoding system for inter-world haptic interaction.” The framework realizes haptic information transformation between real world and real human through virtual, computational world by employing a collection and encoding of vast haptic/physical interaction between real world/human. With the collection framework, we can transform borderless haptic information between computerized inter-world, and interact with real world as far more intuitive and organic linkage.
